In 1889, my maternal grandfather's arrival in Mexico aboard a French ship marked the beginning of the first Lebanese immigration to the country.

I am Josiane, a Lebanese-French woman passionate about Mexico and its vibrant culture. After falling in love with Mexico during our honeymoon, my Belgian husband and I immersed ourselves in Mayan villages, discovering indigenous artesanias and traditional embroidery and weaving techniques at risk of fading away. This inspired us to create Manos Artes, bringing unique handmade pieces from Mexico to your doorstep, each with its own story.
